How Often Do You Check Your Fire Alarms?

According to the London Fire Brigade - YOU should:

Every week - Test your smoke alarm each week by pressing the test button.

Every six months - Open the case and vacuum the inside to remove dust accumulated on the sensor.

Every year - Change the battery (unless it's a ten year alarm).

Do you abide by this process or are you failing to do so?
