I like the bathroom tiles. I am finding it impossible to find plain beige tiles like these. Topps tiles have a good beige tile but too big at 600x300! Where can I buy these tiles please.

Just for inspiration, as I don't know your budget, how about something like this? http://www.plainenglishdesign.co.uk/arts-3 or these http://www.neptune.com/furniture/bathroom/washstands-taps/ I find most off-the-shelf vanities in the UK are either hideous and cheap-looking, or nice but cost a fortune. Fired Earth is another that's expensive but has good country styles. I would probably get a carpenter to make something bespoke with a marble top. I'm having my bathroom cupboards made in moisture resistant MDF, but I want to paint them so it doesn't matter that they're MDF.

Update -- my plumber finally returned. Not sure what he did while here, but he told me again it wasn't working -- then he did some work on a radiator which had a small leak. We were having a long discussion about options on pumps, new showers, taps etc and I read out the installation guide and he tried it again, and suddenly it worked. It is bizarre as I don't know how many times i tried it previously. My friend who works in construction ALSO called earlier today and tried it several times to no avail. It must have been extremely stiff or perhaps the plumber realised some airlock whilst fixing the radiator since I think water pressure is much stronger since he went. Thanks for everyones help -- i learned lots on plumbing and a valuable lesson to take out the installation manuals myself and not trust that trades men know everything!!! I feel like celebrating!!

I wouldn't necessarily dismiss the idea of a wet room. I lived in a house with just a shower for over 10 years and had two babies while I was there - we worked it out. However I do appreciate it may make your house less desirable if you are planning on selling in the future. (although I will add when we sold ours 2 years ago the lack of a bath was not an issue). It sounds like you want to do some of the work yourself so perhaps get a plumber in and discuss what work you wish them to do and what you can tackle yourself. Same idea with the electrics. Agree with others to double check the dimensions of the bath you've found - most on-line retailers allow you to download the technical drawings of things like baths. Have you considered a sliding door? It may make the space more accessible. We've just put electric under floor heating in our wet room - with ours it's just designed to warm the floor to help dry it after use - rather than heat the room. We have a towel rail on the wall as well as the UFH.

If space is your priority, perhaps the second toilet would be better? What brand is it, btw? I will eventually be redoing a bathroom (had planned to do it this year, but gas price rises have made me decide to install a wood burner instead). Really like the shape of this second toilet and it looks like it would be so easy to clean.
