My room is not very big and is a really awquord shape and I don't know how to style it because I have livid in it for iver seven years

You have a floor plan? Or could you draw one with wall/ door & window measurements ?

Hi, I have read a few posts about painting upvc windows. Great to see some success stories as I'm having trouble convincing OH to let me do them. Our windows are light oak upvc inside and out. As much as I would have loved white we live in a street where all the houses have woodgrain windows. Anyway, I would really like them to be white/offwhite inside. Just a few questions if anyone can help? How do you avoid brush marks? I realise the pattern of the grain will be seen. Did you paint interiors of the frames and sides of openers? Will the finish be durable? Any tips or advice would be welcome.

Any way to weather new wood on decking?

Can’t see colourhappy’s comment for some reason although I remember seeing it yesterday....strange. I have tried the white vinegar and steel wool method for ageing wood but it may turn out different to what you expect. Image below is project I did a while ago, white vinegar with steel wool solution on plain pine. Also with this method the solution continues to work when applied so it gets darker after a few days. Personally I would sand back the weathered wood to match the new rather than the other way round as any product you apply to the new wood may affect the intake of oil.
