Dear Allygirl,

thank you for your interest in Infinity Canopy. If you have harsh
winters and snow you should remove the canopy of the cables and
store it for winter to maximize its life and beauty.

A split vote for me! Its a "2) No" as I *love* gardening, and was a garden designer in the Leeds and York areas for many years. And its a "1) Yes" as I recognise that I need help for the big jobs and husband or gardener has always mowed. We have moved from 2 acres where 25 years of gardening had taken their toll; and aching joints declared that we needed to have a much smaller garden. That was 11 years ago, and *now* i am having to re-design this 1/15th acre front garden by reducing the size of the beds. Its killing me!! very sad to have to remove plants; and yes, we've had to get a gardener in to help. He will probably be the guy who has to do the weeding eventually. :((

Even with the advent of central and underfloor heating we crave that focal gathering point that a fireplace provides - a room without a fireplace? Condensation is caused where you have warm wet air meeting a cold surface - it forms on the windows (especially single glazed ones) because they are the coldest surface, colder air cannot hold as much water vapour so it turns back to water and hence lots of moisture on the windows. Historically older buildings were very leaky and so there was lots of ventilation and this allowed the warm damp air to be replaced with colder drier ir from the outside. Your best solutions would be to remove the water source from the room i.e. washer, drier etc, ventilate the space appropriately or has been put remove the cold spot on the external wall i.e. replace the single glazing. You could be able to use slim double glazing of which there are many types on the market but all will require listed building consent to do so.

After many weeks of experimenting with furniture positions I have finally reached a conclusion which I'm happy with. I am selling the Ikea black desk which was too small and impractical for the room and replaced it with my old curved desk which now fits snugly in the South East corner of my room. I have also put the chest to good use which is now under the bed and will be replaced by 'weathered scaffold board' shelves on the South West wall which previously held my guitars. The guitars will be placed on the North East wall above my chest of drawers which are stacked and positioned next to the bed. I am still yet to decide however which wall should contain all of the photos and canvas'... Perhaps above the headboard. The speakers will be positioned accordingly once some shelves fill the South East corner wall above the desk and the 3 shelves have been positioned. The LP player along with the vinyls will be on the bottom shelf which is still in the process of design. Once this is complete.. I may have time to put hooks above Bob Marley's head for the cables.... If you believe I'm going the wrong direction with this please give me a shout. Pictures will be posted upon completion.
