Comments (23)We have a boiling tap - wouldn’t be without it. We were able to afford it when I found that Franke, better known for kitchen sinks, also do boiling taps. Small point but worth making - be careful when installing your boiling tap of choice to ensure easy access to the isolating mechanism on the water pipe(s) so you can turn off the water when you need to replace the filter cartridge. Comments (2)We have a Quooker Flex. Like you we used to have a spray tap in our old kitchen, which I thought I'd miss terribly, because I too used it all the time. Truth is we actually don't miss it at all - the benefits and ease of the boiler tap (with filtered water also) far outweigh the loss of the spray. What I would have missed more is the hose element of the tap. But the hose of the Quooker does a good enough job of rising down and also provides that essential long distance filling for buckets etc. which I find so useful and saved hefting full buckets and the like, in and out of the sink....See MoreOld basins - mixer taps....
