Brad this is hand painted in a chalk and mineral paint called Frenchic. Its a UK based company.

This was Frenchic's stand at Olympia last year. The chair is painted. You can paint anything with Frenchic..... Anything, including leather

Dining chairs won't fit

Ok, so 52 inches is just about 133 cms which will give you ample room to seat two 'standard' width chairs between the legs of the table. Most dining chairs are around 50cms wide and this would give the following spacing table leg > 11cm > chair > 11cm > chair > table leg. When we are working out what size table someone may need, or how many chairs they would like to seat, we usually work on spacing of no less than 5cm around any chair - this is still comfortable elbow/leg room. So if you work on this basis, of going no less than 5cm, the chairs you will eventually find for your table should be no more than 59cm wide. So don't forget to always carry a tape measure when you are out and about! You never know when you are going to come across the chairs you want. I hope this helps

Blimey, I've not seen such extreme polar opposite views since the Brexit vote!!!! I didn't realise that it would cause such diverse (and vehement) reactions!!! :-D Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no place in my home for it, but I think it's genius. Not least because, as Colourhappy says, it's ironic and sooooo much kinder than using real animal fur for fashion trends.
