The cot is actually from Ikea (it turns into a nifty sofa too), and the other furniture items are from here http://tidd.ly/859c924d . The exact furniture is not available anymore but there are many similar alternatives available.

Hi I know im the odd one out but why not if it fits a space I rather like to see rules broken and think it keeps a room interesting and not so sterile I would play it off with accessories in the same tone as your fab modern kitchen and the fun is pulling it off using traditional and modern perhaps super modern pieces on your welsh dresser love your home love your individual style there should be no rules take a look at some of the modern eclectic kitchens on here so lovely and diffrrenti

Hi Justine, Painting the back of the unit grey will look great. You could also consider using a wallpaper or fabric to create a completely unique look. For styling the dresser you could display a number of objects that are linked by colour, texture or style. The key is to keep it pared down so your decorative items can be seen. Grouping items together in 3s or 5s looks pleasing. Remember to scale the items to the size of each shelf. I like to change my decorative items on display a couple of times a year to keep it fresh and it's fun to create new vignettes. Fresh flowers or greenery as a finishing touch always look good.

It looks to have a blue undertone, the violet over the bed seems to be reflecting off something and the green Is from a cot blanket? You could try dulux polished pebble seen in all 3 pics although the more I'm looking at the pic wondering if it's a violet undertone lol!

I would suggest porcelein wood effect tiles too. They are tough and easy to clean and some are incredibly realistic. They come in every colour from white to deepest mahogany. I always think wooden look floors look so good wth grey or blue units. My stepdaughter has them with UFH and she is very pleased With them. Walls - i actually like white, but you could go pale grey and paint one or two end walls in a bolder colour? Wall tiles are a very personal thing, but how about small geometrics in white?
