What colour should I paint my wall?
Comments (7)It's a pleasure, I'd say a Jasmine white or almond white. The lightness will really bring out that beautiful floor. This will give the room a lift and a light airy feel, the light will bounce off the red tiles giving the walls a warm tone....See MoreWhat colour should I paint my front door and garage - 1930s House
Comments (43)I think your instinct is spot on - the grey does not go with your lovely house at all! You said yourself, 'the grey craze', why follow the herd? Perhaps you should question why you want a 'contemporary colour' instead of one of the many choices which will enhance your beautiful period house. You don't see lovely pink Suffolk cottages, or the black and white half timbered houses characteristic of some areas daubed with grey because it's the latest fad....See MoreWhat should I paint this wall with

I don’t think anyone else will see the charm you are seeing though - I think most peoples walls look like this when they strip wall paper and take down other fixtures such as shelves that leave drill holes. Anyone else would fill the holes and paint over it to give a flat and clean looking finish....See MoreWhat colour should I paint the wall that will work with the prints?
Comments (45)Hate to throw a spanner in the works but why that wall? To me it looks like the space above your cupboards is crying out for attention. You’ve got a fab space to play with their so of it was mine, I’d match the tiles with paint and use the cupboard tops as shelves for display of lovely ornaments or rarely used (but aesthetically pleasing) kitchen and/or dining pots.....and in answer to the original question have the art wall white. Other than my suggestion if you leave the cupboard walls white then i‘d paint the art wall in a fave colour for impact (I see you have some red stools, go daring!)...See MoreLauren
