Table for tub chairs in kitchen

I want a comfy area in new kitchen/ garden room. Somewhere relaxing to work from with laptop or coffee. Have ordered two tub chairs and want a round cafe table but height is an issue. I've seen ones in pubs which are too tall but don't want a coffee table as too low.

You can buy height adjustable tables, what style are you going for, maybe you could post some pics of the chairs and style of table that you like if only it were higher.

Getting two tub chairs from Tubs direct.co.uk pastel striped, to overlook garden through any of the three French doors from the kitchen. I'm thinking just a round bistro type table, big enough to use a laptop on or for two to have coffee, either in chrome, marble, or similar- not keen on glass or wood for this area.

The kitchen is mainly straight lines and this small corner needs to be comfy- have invested in a bling light overhead to contrast the ceiling lights around the kitchen area.

Love the area of being able to adapt the height of a table to suit

Yes Daisy they are not comfortable and we tend to be lounge dwellers lol but I do like a table when I have guests or sunday lunch around a table so nice for get together. I work with lots of young dogs and puppies and my last german shepherd (sadly now passed) had a thing about testing my new tables and chairs just nibbling them around the edges so this was a bit of a solution with metal finish to that issue as we had him for 15years!! lol. But to be honest has worked out extremely well especially for hot things. I have considered Having top recovered in solid surface as I like its shape and size and I do use it as a workstation too and bentwood chairs soooo love this style of iconic chair around a mismatched table and love natural woods thats why I kept the upper cabinets that are solid med.oak and beautifully made just replaced one or two facia panels on the wall units to tie in with my new base units in a matt sage/grey finish thats so easy to keep clean. Going to replace facia on plate rack on far wall next to link it in more sort of evolving this kitchen make over used a great replacement door company in Stoke. If I do replace whole lot table and chairs will then make a charming little set for the garden so I cant complain about this buy as purchased half price In late summer sale nice when things are useful. I do like the slightly industrial timber plank tables too with metal legs and rustic tops

I think black, white or grey modern chairs would work great. Personally I wouldn’t go with eiffel as I think the plastic could look cheap against beautiful antique wood. I like your suggestion of black wire chairs, that’s probably what i’d go with, or perhaps black wooden chairs, maybe a wishbone or carver style

How about banquet seating on one side? I think you could have curved banquet then 2 chairs. Would use less space than 4 chairs.

Had a look at your tub chairs and the seat height, they're the same height as the chair that i work on. My desk top is 75cm high and it's a comfortable height at 75cm. Therefore, googled ' Round chrome table height 75cm' and came up with several, including these two:-

Thank you so much. I have used this info to refine my search and found a similar one in aluminium at this height, and it should be delivered next week!
