white roller blinds? not sure!
Comments (5)If you want cosy then perhaps the roller blind is not enough. If it were my room I would get shutters or fake them with slatted blinds : http://www.directblinds.co.uk/wooden-blinds/nile-35-taped-putty?gclid=CKiRt5XckcICFUTHtAodbkcApw and then add dress curtains. I would keep the look simple with islet tops but use the curtains to introduce pattern: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/plum-louisa-curtain-collection-297279...See MoreIs it a good idea to have roman blinds or fabric blinds in a kitchen?
Comments (18)Hi there, As others have said, it much depends how you use your kitchen. Lots of our customers do choose Roman blinds for their kitchens as they like the softness they provide - but you must think about things like splashes from sinks as well as cooking smells. One thing others have suggested is Wooden blinds. Fauxwood blinds are the perfect solution for kitchens - they look like wood, but they won't warp in steamy conditions and are really easy to wipe clean. Comments (2)Hi Lisa, I completely understand your dilemma, I'm moving house soon and have exactly the same type of window as you. My suggestion would be to have a Voile roller blind, as I know that you said you don't like Voile curtains. This would be a great way of keeping your privacy in the room, whilst still allowing plenty of light into your room. I'd then pair this with Dorma Window Curtain Poles (the would be to the side of the recess rather than within). I've attached images of both of my suggestions below. This may be one of the better options if you're looking at trying not to lose too much light from your room. I hope my suggestions help, let me know! Comments (8)As the top window opens, two Pleated Blinds that just cover the glass panes would allow the new owner to open that window without having to touch the blinds at all. If you keep the colour pretty neutral, any ornaments on the window sill would stand out beautifully rather than disappear into the current black background. In my photo a client wanted to jazz up a totally white bathroom - the pink glow across the whole area is simply from the two pink blinds!...See MoreVy
