Paint the door?

Okay, I have finally picked my colour scheme for the hallway of my house! Should I paint the door and radiator? Or get a different radiator completely? The hall isn't wide enough to get a radiator cabinet in unfortunately. If I was to paint the door, I would think a grey colour (maybe?). The items on the window ledge are to be replaced with the hurricane lanterns and the roses like those in the 'mood board'. The mirror will be going on the painted wall just before you enter the living room..... Thank you everyone! ☺️☺️

You could paint the radiator in a metallic colour...brass/copper etc....maybe to match the mirror? I would paint the door...if you are going for grey stick to warm colours to avoid it looking blue against your wallpaper...maybe more of a taupe sort of colour.

I'm going to be different and say no! Well it's your choice really, all my internal doors are left natural antique pine with ceramic white knobs and chunky black locks because that's how they came with the old house, Houzzers have told me to paint mine in previous discussions but refuse! ;) I personally like them!

Good morning, May I suggest for the front door and garage be painted the same in a very high gloss, possibly from farrow and balls collection a colour that has similarly to the stone used on the house such as.....Archive or Oxford stone which should compliment the brown window frames? I would also suggest you remove all the terracotta planters and replace them with some contemporary natural stone or paint the planters same as the door and they should be tall and plant some large box balls or sphere shapes which should update the look? I had my sitting room door dipped many years ago and it was fine. I kept mine natural and just varnished it. I’m far to lazy to be bothered with stripping a door by hand! Here’s a pic

I would decorate the hall first a see how you feel- you might feel differently about the door if you change the hall floor. My preference is for a painted door but it’s too cold to paint it at the moment. As far as colour I think it depends on the rest of the house. But my instinct would be to paint it a bold colour such as olive green.
