Comments (3)I wouldn't change that floor, it's lovely, so many more colours sit better with a darker floor. Mid oak is nice and it does make things look a little warmer, but you can get that with rugs and cushions, which stand out better against the darker colour. I'd also put the wallpaper on the Chimney breast not in the alcoves, it will look better, then pick up the cream in the background for everything else. Excuse the bad mock up, it's not easy, but this is it with the dark flooring This is it with a medium oak. I think the peach tones sit better with the dark flooring....See MoreWall Art for Lounge
