I need to buy the spindles for this particular staircase

I need to buy 15 spindles with a single 'buckle' on them and 15 others with double 'buckles' please from your company suppliers.

Hi Eileen, There are a number of options you can do to your stairs to update the look. As you have what is classed as a "diminishing" staircase, glass with oak would be a good option to open it up and create more light. I have attached a picture so you can see an example of a similar diminishing staircase in oak and glass. Alternatively go for a plain square or stop chamfered spindle in either oak or white primed. You may feel there is too much Oak if you are having oak flooring, so having everything in white with a contrasting handrail in oak could be an option to tie it in with the flooring. A vertical column radiator would indeed be a good option, and I like the anthracite idea. Alternatively, if you could find a traditional tall victorian radiator (may not be easy to source) and finish it in a bronze/verdigris, it could work really well with your dark mint and would be a real statement! Your staircase is lovely, and I would go with a contemporary striped runner, white painted sides and a simple rod.

Ettel you wouldn't have to change the off white walls if you went for whitewashed/limed pale wood or used a white oil or wax on it Scandi style. I haven't seen it done but I was thinking of kitchens and floors in this kind of wood that I have noticed on Houzz. I also thought of the slightly rougher wood cladding used externally on buildings that you may be able to get from a wholesaler in a smaller quantity. This could give you a nice kind of rustic effect but then it would be up to you if you wanted to follow that into full country style or go with a more modern rustic aesthetic. I have seen nice things from habitat that would work with that. Just a more minimal look than country. Sorry, I've never attached a photo on houzz.
