Rug Tassel fringing

Hi

I am looking to add some cotton tassel 3" fringing to a rug. Does anyone know where I can buy cotton fringing that isn't the shiny curtain fringing.

Have a look here Bedecked, especially under the section heavier weight trimmings, great for rugs, but a wonderful, huge selection x

If you wanted you could buy new deep lloyd loom style chairs..they come in all sorts of F&B colours. I wouldn't agonise too much about colour. obviously, you could go for the stone/taupe/ neutral colours but personally I would go for a soft purple/aubergine colour ( think natures colours) which would add the same depth of colour as your walls. Think a colour would mix the room up a bit. A cafe table looks gorgeous with flowers on which leaves room for a drink or magazine, & again, is a nod to the garden. magazines & books are hugely decorative & some say essential for a room. I use old books for the rooms I do & to add emphasis to the furniture I source. You can choose an interior magazine, monthly, with a cover that appeals to add seasonal change. Layer your room gradually , experiment & have fun. keep an eye out for the right lamps, shades & cushions & think big rather than twee. Oh! & essentials I didn't spot but could well be there are paintings & a mirror?!

I think it looks stark because there is currently so much contrast between the very light walls and the very dark sofa, although this may be exaggerated on the pictures. A quick fix could be to paint a mid shade in the mirror wall. ( also if you hang the mirror portrait you help the room feel higher). Personally I think that for a room to be complete you need colour, pattern and texture which you should bear in mind when buying accessories. The only thing others haven't mentioned is house plants. A large palm or cheese plant will look great

I agree with the mute rug as too much pattern will look busy. I would go for plain navy blue and muted gold cushions. Plain cushions tend to cost less and cheaper ones can easily be found online. With the Amatista Rug or navy blue suggested by Celery girl - BTW your advice on rug size/placement is SPOT ON! I'm constantly telling my clients this, it makes such a huge impact to the space and is more comfortable also. Wayfair also has great deals and sale items by the way. You can get great cheaper options on eBay - your paying for the brand with places like wayfair, made, heels etc.
