covered outdoor eating area/room

we currently have a large pergola which has served us well (family of 7 - table seats 12) .
we have decided to build a new eating area using 2 sides of an existing brick wall. Keen to build in bbq with work services on either side. We have mounted wall heaters which we would like to retain. (we have a patio seating area with outside fire) any ideas for outdoor eating areas...we live in Belfast...not known for extended sunny periods!
