love it but for me it lacks the necessary space to put my soap or lay out my make-up or whatever when getting ready for work

I can understand where you are coming from, you may like a few others of our basins which offer greater surface space to place items on which presumably is much more practical for you. Here are a few examples, please leave your feedback on them as we look to see what people think of our products.

Congrats on your purchase !!! I actually think this is a well thought out design as it stands. Showers are usually wider than baths - but in this instance I think a 2mX.8m shower could work - but it will make the bathroom seem smaller ... Having a single 1.1m glass divider wall opposite the basin with the open walk in area opposite the loo will help - as keeps that area in front of loo feeling a bit less closed in . Other than that - I would agree with above post about changing the bathroom door to open inwards, unless this is to do with a local build code ( looks like non UK plan) - check before you change it ! I wouldn't mess with the kitchen walls - as walking from the bathroom straight out into an open kitchen isn't ideal, nor is walking in the front door straight into a kitchen - but that's just my opinion. It could be to do with local build code - so again, check first locally before you take anything down ! Happy home making !!!

Rule of thumb we use when specifying mirrors with lights is size, if it's going over a vanity area having a matching size looks the most appealing. Alternatively if you are having the mirror elsewhere (on a long wall) a nice large mirror 1000x800 will give you more light and make a larger room feel bigger. Sockets are always a nice add on, most of us have electric tooth brushes but this isn't always necessary. I hope this helps a little, good luck wit your search!

Just one thing that has come to mind, wood can expand and contract slightly so possibly better of bonding some metal flat bar (30mm or 40mm wide, you can get it in b&q) then the wooden frame onto that If you know a local metal fabrication place the could make you a frame from steel angle, mine is u section along the top for hanging and angle along the sides and bottom, I’d say you’d be fine with just the flat bar option above then the wood :-)
