Help for my prayer plant, please!

Have been in oz for a month and returned to find my beloved prayer plant which was being watered by a friend, totally slumped over.... have tried everything I can think of.... soil is moist/dry and keeping in partial shade... now that all the stems have bent over, is it too late? Any advice on how to resurrect this beautiful plant would be greatly appreciated! Tia.
