Paint color full strength?

Is the Silver Drop paint at full strength? I love color!!

Hi Michelle, just saw your question - thanks for your interest. The paint was at full strength, but don't forget that most pictures you see of interiors are somewhat brightened up. You really can't pick paint color from a picture on the web, but fortunately it's easy to test a few on the wall! You may want to try Benjamin Moore's Gray Owl for something this light.

As always some fab points. I have considered price but the cost of paper was far less than having every wall skimmed but to be honest paper was more feasible for the time frame as there is no chain we can complete quickly. The 3 living rooms come off the hall and the bottom one is straight ahead of the front door which will be the dining room so I was thinking wallnut floor in hall and dining room but I'd like to have carpet in the other 2 reception rooms which will be library and sitting room as I have wood floors now in my sitting room and as much as I love the way it looks I feel like I'm forever cleaning it. It seams silly to place pet the hall though especially with children's muddy feet. There is no cornices in any of the upstairs rooms so I think brick effect paper will work well in the master. I'm stil not sure wetha to do all walls or just feature wall. We have wallnut furniture which I love so I think it will be a fab room. My daughters room I'm most excited bout it's just trying to decide how much of which colour more Grey or more pink or equal both I'm leaning more towards more grey because it will be easy to change the pink as she ages. My step son is difficult as he had probably had a different room every year in our house as he's aged he's gone from toy story to batman to Barcelona fc. So now I'm saying no to themed rooms. I was thinking maybe a mural on the wall behind the bed maybe black and white New York sky line or something and keep everything else very simple black and white??? The floor boards aren't in great condition and I know I probably stand alone when I say this but I don't actually like the look of original floor boards unless they are perfect. I agree with the decor flowing through the house and aside from the kids rooms it will all be pretty neutral. The dining room leads out into a beautiful garden so I was toying with trying to bring the outside in with some nature tones I'm just not sure how to go about it? Any suggestions for a dining table colour as it will sit on wallnut floor or am I just being picky and it doesn't really matter, just in my head an oak table on wallnut floor doesn't look great. Wish I'd taken pictures so I could show before and after I'll have to remember to when we move

A glass wall that doesn't move is going to be a nightmare. It gives no flexibility for cleaning - you'll have to get into the bath to clean that shelf, the taps and the bath as well as the inside of the glass. Perhaps this glass door swings and it's just a clever photo? As for the taps, they really do need to be on a different wall so you can turn them on before getting under the shower - having them on a side wall is better than having them on the back wall. I reckon you'd bump into them all the time, turning them on or off accidentally, if they were on the back wall. When I installed my shower room, I decided against glass and built a wall instead, tiled on the inside and painted on the outside. If you get the lighting right, it doesn't matter that it's a wall that doesn't let light in; you don't need daylight to wash, you just need light! And the tiles are much more forgiving in terms of cleaning than glass is. I realise this might not work for you if you are having an over the bath shower though, if you have room for a shower room and a bathroom you might not need one over the bath?

Hi again, I have tge decorator comings in october going strip my lounge and replaster then repainting my house fully. Treat to myself for my birthday. I have a small 3 bed semi and want to give it a more cohesive look I like Farrow and Ball Tunsgate green for main walls and Churlish green to pickout Feature walls. Want to create a calmer look with flow but not boring I love colour and not afraid to be bold but need a overal look rather than individual room themes. Only coloured carpet I have is rather lovely moss green stair runner that I have based my colour choice on other floors are lounge parquet gorgeous. Not so gorgeous terracotta tiled kitchen but had to stay for now and neutral oatmeal wool bedroom carpets. Love this black wallpaper with grey gold silver birch trees for behind my bed will it work???? New robes black gloss. Sons room red robes what do I do here without changing too much and little spare room no idea what to do. How do you use the two colours? Do you pick a feature wall in all of them don't want it look like a had a job lot of two paints but dont want it random. Open to other colour suggestions but grey lovers I find it a bit dull in my home south facing dark lounge and can live with greenish grey tones more just saying love greys on the pics of your homes but not here something wrong with my daylight lol mine looks drab and muddy in true grey. Looking forward to your ideas try a give a glimpse of my rooms very hard with phone pics here goes. Thanks in advance love this site great ideas and help from you guys.
