Color finish on perimeter and island plus stone floor

Hi Becky - both finishes were created by us. The oak has been aged by one of our specialist finishers using alchemy that only he seems familiar with (!), and the paint is a specialist milk paint which we mixed up to match the colour of a piece of French joinery in the client's London house.

Hi Laurenandjames. I love your kitchen / diner. I am in the process of having an extension and I have Howdens Tewkesbury Stone kitchen and Ice White Quartz worktops ready to be fitted. Is the wallpaper from B&Q? Also what colour paint did you go for on the rest of the walls? I was a bit worried about the stone colour as in some lights it looks brown and not the grey I was after. Hi all, progress is slow but the builders will be back to finish in 3 weeks or so. We're definitely decided on the oblique latte mix - thanks for the suggestion colourhappy! So now we need to decide on paint colours, and I agree with the suggestions of the dark grey on the opposite wall to match the island. But I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the walls. Any thoughts? What would you do?

Funny you should say that ED; a friend and I just decided to do our compilation show again at Edinburgh next year. We did it for the first time in 2017. It's called Laugh begins at Forty and has five or six different comedians over 40 performing every day. I'd better get the house finished!
