wallpaper freshly plastered walls

we have had Walls and skimmed in bedroom. we want to wallpaper two walls.
I have read mixed reports on what use. either a size or mist coat prior to wallpapering ?
I have time as only done today and needs to fully dry out first

I was taught by my dad - like a lot of us, who know's if times have changed. He said Size the walls ( thin paste coat all over )

what about colouring in wallpaper = hrs of peace & quiet and a lovely privilege for kids to draw on their walls! http://www.spoonflower.com/wallpaper/3041169 or http://www.burpboutique.com/products/colour-in-wallpaper?variant=137307502. So many different ones out there and what better feature for the kids. Granted, not easy on the adult eye necessarily but something the kids will never forget. New lights arrived, chose two for size comparison, eventually went for something clear glass, and a choice of bulbs. If I have to look at it going upstairs it may as well look interesting, lol! Where to finish wallpaper on a wall with external corner

Sorry , I can't quite picture the layout and what or where you want to paper. Generally finishing on an external corner leaves the edge of the paper visible, unless the corner is perfect it will look odd and the edge of the paper can be easily damaged. Perhaps you could put a wood corner bead to hand the paper up to, although that in itself may look odd.
