Open plan curtains dilemma

Hi everyone,
something that would match the kitchen, dining area and living room. Considering that the whole is quite plain ( grey beige neutrals) what would you suggest I should go for? My idea was to use different shades of blue, like in the pop art painting I have, in the form of geometrical pattern, spraying the chrome accessories in brass. I would be extremely grateful for any comment/suggestion, thanks very much in advance.

Comments (4)Position of sofas either 1 or 2 is really irrelevant as they are not fixed items. When the room is built you will no doubt swivel between layouts to see what works for you then. In your options posted it is the layout of your kitchen, is it in the right area if the space? are the units, sink, hob, boiler etc in right place? Comments (3)I’m not very good at flows etc but I do wonder whether you might be a bit short on worktop space? There’s a long run of tall units, but not much worktop area that I can see. I’m not a fan of hobs on islands, but I know they are popular. I think I would try to find a way to incorporate the Christmas lounge with the rest of the house, maybe glazed doors in place of the wall to improve lighting and give the option of closing off if need be. With the dining table so close to the island, do you need both? But there are others on here who have much more insight than I do on these matters. Have fun planning. Comments (7)The garden is south facing so the sun comes through the kitchen and living room windows. We have thought about going into the the Living room, our Hesitation is it’s a good sized room with a nice fireplace.
