How to improve this semi-pebble dash facade?

Very grateful for any advice on how to make this look prettier.

Thinking of painting the top pebble dash white and then incorporating some wisteria across the front.

Your idea of planting is a good one, but I'm not convinced that the upper floor would be improved by painting it white. Pebbledash is currently unpopular and therefore often targeted as a 'problem', To me, the main problem is the complete paving of the front garden, the resultant starkness exacerbated by the white paint to the ground floor. I'd think twice before planting wisteria. Although delightful when in flower it is rampant, can be difficult to control, and its roots can cause havoc if they get into drains. Some carefully chosen evergreen and flowering shrubs planted in the ground, not only pots, could greatly improve the look of the house and not spoil the beneficial uniformity of the terrace.

Hi Sarah, I'm also not keen on painting the top white. Have you considered going the other way and matching the ground floor colour to the top? Leaving the window and door frames white will add a nice contrast to the facade.

Here's an unprofessional sketch just to get your ideas going. I'd definitely suggest a flower bed at the front of house and some lighting too. You could add some drive lights at the side of the fence to brighten up your exteriors. This would be quite practical and look stunning at night time.

Hi, I'm of the same ilk as The Bulb co above, not a natural born gardener but clean and tidy with a few feature plants is great. A couple of plants that perform well for me, (mainly because i don't have to do anything are), 'red robin' and the Pieris Japonica which is the red one you have in the front garden by the looks of things. Both are evergreen and take very little care, well in my garden anyway. An occasional cut of the red robin keeps new growth coming through red. About once a year. If you can move the light a little further to the right as you look at the house it's let you show off the architectural detail of your doorway a little better. Hi :-) I'm blushing, because of Karen from OnePlan's comment :-) But here goes: fairly simple and I'm guessing not too expensive would be changing the front door for a modern (oak) one, adding a modern awning above the front door, and painting the pebble dash a warm white, improving the path to the front door and painting the red brick retaining wall a dark grey (same as stairs) or white. I would also add planting. At some point in the future I'd change the trellis below the decking for a more modern version with vertical or horizontal slats and replace the railing with a glass version or a metal version (but I'm not sure if that is allowed by building regulations in the UK because of the horizontal steel wires).

No - unless you have good funds don’t start a job until you know you can finish. It’s likely that even if a small patch shows it’s ok underneath removing a full facade of pebbledash will need require repointing, some bricks replacing and it might even be better to just have it off and apply a smooth render. This is really not a DIY job.

My sister who us on a tight budget has a pebbledash house and is looking to change the doors and windows.She us currently interested in a company called https://palladiodoors.ie/. The pebbledash is a problem (I think )which she cannot resolve at this time.Can you give your opinions on what you think she should do re doors and windows.

I think personally it's the porch that's dating the property. I'd definitely update that. Then, You could either keep the pebble dash as is on top and paint taupe at the bottom which would go nicely with the driveway colour.
Painting will make the windows stand out, currently the bottom half is white walls, white windows, which is never a great look. You could also use grey, as you have a grey border tile:-
