Comments (3)Thank you for your reply. So would you say wooden top like colmar oak and floors in ceramic or porcelain? Could you suggest any ranges, I would be most grateful. Also I will need wall tiles to compliment and I was thinking to have a small area of wall painted in that chalk board paint in a bluish grey. And wall colour? I am trying to create the mood of warmth in the kitchen. contemporary modern style....See Moreworktop dilemma
Comments (4)Marble is a beautiful material but for worktops its very hard work, its a porous stone so it can stain and mark easily. Quartz marble-like colours offer the look of marble but with the ease of Quartz. There are alot of Quartz brands that offer these colours: Caesarstone, Cimstone, Compac, Dekton, Quartzforms, Silestone & Technistone are just some of the brands that we offer. They all have websites that you can view they colour options. Hope that helps....See MoreKitchen wall colour, please help!
Comments (15)Ooo that looks a great possibility. There are two undertones to this colour green and grey. I'd say green complimenting the cupboards and grey the work tops. Lots of colour testing to do on paper once I have the flooring sample and it laid. Yes I definitely need dark accessories. I was going with copper as I am going to have two pendant lights over the breakfast bar. Do you all think copper as the accessory colour would work? I am having an oak kitchen door and dining table with an oak bench. Seating area I was thinking paint a light colour but reupholster with a dark blue shade (now decided from your advice) and then tile the inside of the log fire background in a patterned dark blue tile? Thank you...See Morekitchen matching colors
Comments (4)Hi, On my screen, it looks as though the tile is very versatile and can go with a range of colours. We have a similar tile (slightly lighter) and opted for Cashmere units, to complement the warm tones of the tiles. You could also go for white for contrast or pick it the black/grey from the wood effect and go for light grey cabinets. The lighting and aspect of the room, however will influence how well the unit colours sit with the flooring; in a North facing room, the blue tone from grey units may be accentuated and therefore not work as well with the flooring.
