Need colour match kitchen ideas
Comments (2)Hi. what sort off look are you after, modern, traditional. I think it would be lovely to pick up on the blue accents from your worktop into your units, with flooring slightly darker than oak; alternatively, a white gloss kitchen would look fantastic with dark flooring and using blues in accessories to then bring about colour. let us know how your project goes. all the best....See Morehalf glass wall divide between kitchen and hallway
Comments (1)Hi Alexandria, if you're still considering this could you sketch the layout or post any pictures? I feel like I don't 100% grasp the space and what you're trying to do! Will the opening be filled with just a window, or will it also have a door? Will you have kitchen cabinets & counter on the other side of the wall divide? If the opening will just be filled with a window, I think go for multiple panes - one large glass window could look a bit odd, could have a bit of an aquarium vibe... The black crittall look you posted is lovely, and could be a good option. Would you be open to adding some black industrial touches to your decor to harmonize with it? If not, then you could consider going for a white casement style instead - which you could then paint navy / another complementary colour to match your kitchen better. Some examples in white below. If you're having to add a wall, it can be an opportunity for more storage or a nice seating area :D So you could do half window for the top, and bottom half could be storage or seating against the wall. Either is handy in a hallway! :) Examples below...See MorePaving colour for driveway - To match or not to match?
Comments (138)These are my Japanese acers, I selected the shorter varieties since the drive isn't huge. The red one is approximately 10yo, the other two are 6-7 yo. They grow quite slow and stay compact,in my opinion. I tried to take the photos in front of our Cooper so you get the idea of the sizes. They are Garnet (2+ m) Bi Ho (2m) and Winter Flame (1.5m and it grew 50cm during the last three years). Acers can be shaped, I'll be removing some lower branches to add some structure. They are gorgeous in autumn and passers-by often stop to admire....See MoreFarrow & ball to match Wickes heritage bone kitchen
Comments (4)A few years ago I had new wardrobes fitted and there was a small stair box which I needed to paint to match the wardrobes. I took the sample sheet to B&Q and they matched it with a Valpar paint. It was a perfect match....See MoreJuliet Docherty
