Does the wall color look different depending on the the light?

Hello! We have a spec home under construction and we chose to go with April Showers for the entire home. It looked like it was a good compromise between Shoji (SW) and Analytical gray (SW). As it's going up, it looks very green. We've only completed the garage and with the lack of natural light and a lot of reflection, it will change inside. Paint is always so challenging. I like that in the picture it has a hint of green, but almost gray and that depends on what it's reflecting. Anyways, look forward to hearing about your experience with April Showers. Thank you!

I always recommend painting the color on a board and viewing it at different times of day in different natural and artificial light. If you don't love it, don't do it! Color is so personal so find the right shade for you.

To give you a wild card what about a maple laminate or even a nice modern carpet in a cream or pale grey, pale blue or pale pink. Yes you'll see what I'm getting at a pale colour of flooring would be better looking in my opinion. ( I have oak hardwood flooring with a really pale silver grey wall in my lounge I also have OHW in my hallway with Apple white walls so I concur with the oak suggestion too although I wanted maple coloured hard wood when we were decorating??!! Totally agree! Is your floor real wood, or is it porcelain "wood effect"? For the kitchen we'd suggest tiles, you know, in case of the increased spillage risk :)

When you say your wall colour is “strong white” do you mean Farrow and Ball Strong White? Looks lovely. I’ve got the same dilemma-Dove Grey units in an east facing room which gets not much light. I’ve tried a million samples and can’t find that “right one”. Thanks

I’m not too sure on peignoir, I took two different images of it and photoshopped it, does it look a bit meh? Moles breath I guess it depends on the light. I don’t suppose your husband would consider colour for accessories?! i will try a few more colours though
