BATHROOM BLIND IDEAS!!

So there is a powder room in my house that has this huge window which is also a part of the front elevation.

The bathroom is black and white while the paint outside is grey cashmere and I can't decide the colour of the blind to use inside the bathroom that would also relate to the front.

I would love to hear your ideas about the choice of color of the blind to be used!!

Could you post a photo of the bathroom? We could possibly give you some more to the point suggestions. What are the colours of the window dressings of other windows at the front of the house?

I've actually placed a money plant over there for the time being (which I will move) so the powder room is a bit hidden.The window with the light turned on is the window of the powder room. The window sill is the sunny grey marble and the grills are Sahara Black.

I'm thinking of a dark grey color for the blind but am not sure if they'd look good.....

Do suggest a colour if you have one in mind!!!

Thanks for your great ideas, I did think of wooden shutters but decided roman blinds were needed to soften the room. You can see the heated towel rail in the photo but I have sand and cognac towels that work well but all the fabrics for blinds in these colours look too heavy. I have a nice fabric in taupe with a small elephant pattern that is favourite at the moment but doesn't have the 'wow' factor! I agree that an orchid is also a good idea to add texture and softness.

Your front elevation and powder room looks lovely. As you mentioned grey and looking at how they've been desinged would you prefer earthy tones? Earthy tones would go really well with your decor.

Leafy green:

Sandstone brown:

If you'd like to add more colour while keeping with a more earthy feel. Try duck egg blue:

Pale blue

Or a primrose yellow. Floral inspired and not too bright.

Would obscuring the window with frosted window film that lets the light through, be an option?
