Big thanks tamp75. I really like your idea of RAL 9007 for garage door (standard product) and Sadolin "volcanic ash" for the window frames. Hadn't thought of that! And I think you might be right about the weathering of the "traditional" shade of Marshalls driveway products. Have been noticing this as a pass local front gardens. Anyone have any ideas for a warm/soft white shade for the exterior wall? A mum at school suggested RAL 9010 - she said that was the advice her sister (an architect) had given her on her house (she was doing the interiors). Any views?

Have you already chosen or bought curtains? If so I would perhaps wait until you have these up, and maybe some artwork and a rug before revisiting the cushions. I think because the sofa has a cushioned top and back it doesn't lend itself so easily to having lots of cushions, maybe a rectangle cushion on the chair and a toning throw with a few different shades in it over one end of the sofa will be enough. Also, whilst a lot a people might recommend firm, overstuffed cushions in most cases, maybe the cushions will sit better if they are slightly less full and more squishy? Just a thought, you'd have to experiment with that.

Hi, I'd stick with a grey sofa, as you really like your white, chrome, greys. Not everyone likes bright colours and that's fine. I've put some things together for you, California Cloudy seems to work with your floor and isn't too dark or too light, I think. On your other post, about the art, I've suggested a mural for the dining room wall, and I've put one that I think looks pretty fab in this moodboard, but who knows... you might hate it :-) You've chosen cool colours, straight shapes and hard materials so far. Bringing in some softness (fabric), natural materials (wood, plants) and round shapes will make it cosier.
