HI, wondering what color is the brick/redish color on the side accent.

Not sure I know what you're reference, but the left side orangish-brown is a cedar garage door, then off to the right are vertical metal panels in an Adobe color. Hope this helps. Thanks for asking.

Hello! I have checked the dryvit 636 steel blue color that you mentioned in this house as I am looking to redo the stucco in my house, but the sample I got from them seems a lot more blue than the interlachen house. Just wondering if this is the color use in the house? what finished did you apply? lymerstone? thanks!

I found the Dulux Visualator, or whatever it’s called, to be pretty useless. I used it once to visualise my old sitting room colour just to see how accurate it was. My walls were Dulux Elderflower so compared it on the Dulux online thingy and it was completely different!

These were put in our house 14 years ago - started marking about 6-7 yrs ago and now just before I take them out I can mark with my finger nail. Think the quality of the black sockets are better now. Love the half wall ... and the industrial tiles that have been suggested. It’s going to look great!

Thank you for everyones help so far. i have had a decorator out and they have suggested keeping to a wood colour but darker such as dark palisander - including fascias and soffits. Currently it is all a bit of a mismatch with some wood very bleached, and this should tie it together. i have liked others suggestions and particularly liked Sonia’s photo but i do want something that is not going to go out of fashion or creates alot of work next time decorating. It will be years away but more expensive.and I may have retired. So i am quite liking the sound of this but not sure on garage. Here are some exampes with photos dark to go with windows british racing green or similjar light grey / stone to match grout in case of green i would probably get a new front door this colour. if garage was light grey / stone i think it may clash with render so may not be suitable as a front door colour.? Once it is all decorated i will introdruce some planting and the wheelie bin resited to rear. And please remember the brick is not as dark as it looks in these photos and front door is at side. Also had similar issues. To my mind anthracite or black windows can look good IF they are done well - they look good when they are good quality windows with modern flat profiles, fitted to a house which has had proper architectural consideration. The problem now is that all the cheaper upvc double glazing companies are doing them with thick frames and chamfered profiles, and they can look clunky and old fashioned rather than sleek and considered. Our sliding doors only came in 4 colour choices, so in the end we have gone for RAL7021 (a soft black) for those - on the modern rear extension - with RAL7006 (beige grey) aluminium composite windows elsewhere on our 1930s house. The sliding doors are in and the 7021 does look really good, almost invisible as the frames are very slim, and I think it works because it's the very modern extension. The windows aren't in yet so I can't comment on how it's all going to work together. I am keeping my fingers crossed...! Our windows will be Velfac which are alu outside, painted timber inside and you can choose different colours for interior/exterior. They weren't as expensive as I thought they were going to be, so it's worth getting a quote for aluminium composite windows before you decide.
