Not sure where are you based but I used Homebase Masonery Red Brick paint thinned with water. It looks very natural, doesn't leave a shell on surface. You can buy a small tin for £2.79 for 225ml to try the colour. To make it more bricky you can buy two colours and mix them to get some tones like Chocolate. You could go lots of ways with this kitchen.... You have good light and it looks lovely and warm..... I would personally go for a neutral then you can dress up or down with accessories. Have a look at rolling fog, Mirage II, Dorchester Pink and Clay by Little Greene.
