Outside colour help please.
Comments (9)Hello tracysid, I think the windows and front door are good and work particularly well with the brick.. My suggestion is to paint garage door and render a brick colour... Then place some bigger pots with something nice to introduce a bit more greenery.. Maybe even cultivate a little box hedge along where the little pots are now. can be in rectangular slate planters along the line of those low grey bricks.. I think this would look very stylish indeed and definitely don't paint the windows or door white, what is fantastic about the way they are now, is that they blend beautifully with the brick.... :))...See MoreHelp please with colours for Ground floor extension and Roof Dormers
Comments (7)I love dark exteriors but if this was my property having the same work as you I’d go with the type of colours Jonathon suggested but I’d definitely be a incorporating a covered porch especially since the front faces south and you are disrupting the roof already. They are the incredibly useful as well as giving an attractive and unusual architectural element. Re colours I think you should post examples and ask people’s opinions?? The ones I’ve attached aren’t suggestions but just reference images to drive consideration...See MoreHelp with worktop colour and general colour advice please.
Comments (6)My kitchen is painted a duck egg blue too. I have cream units, oak worktops and a white ceramic sink. I agree with colourhappy to get the kitchen fitted, fit the worktop and sink then look at painting the walls, although your wall colour is soft and will probably go well. I’d go for a white worktop, with veining if you want some pattern, then go for a white sink. Black just wouldn’t go with the soft colours and they never look clean, especially if you have hard water. Although I love my duck egg walls I’m going to paint them F&B Oval Room Blue, which is a darker version. Just fancy a change! This is a corner of my kitchen....See MoreHelp please! Comments (4)It depends on what else you have in the room, the sofa colours etc. It looks to be a really nice room with some lovely features. Personally, I wouldn't paint it all a blue or a dark colour as East facing rooms can be gloomy on an afternoon. Have a look on instagram, there is a total shift away from dark interiors towards more neutral warmer ones. Not that this matters, but perhaps a year of lockdown has made a difference to what people want to live with....See Moretamp75
