Bathroom wall colour

Just at the end of bathroom renovation. I have Topps Tiles Bembridge in silver and steel and was going to go for a soft dusty pink on the walls. However now the tiles are up I'm starting to have doubts.
The bathroom is north facing so the light it does get is cool.
Don't really want more grey but open to any suggestions. Thanks

Comments (10)Hi. I'm a bit confused, have you bought the vanity and are looking to paint it? Is the rest of the bathroom fitted as you could add brass or copper taps for instance with a matching mirror? Accessories will also warm it. I like a little wooden stool in a bathroom which you can add accessories to i.e. A candle, natural sponge, flannel etc which has some texture. A plant on the window sill if you have one and then nice accessories for the sink and either some coloured towels or I like hammam ones. I've found a couple of pics but they may not post as houzz has issues :( These are using deep rich colours which may bring the cabinet towards you a little. Comments (3)Hi Diana If you want to address the flooring, you could break up the brown by using a vinyl 'rug' on top of the existing Amtico. Graham & Green do a lovely one (https://www.grahamandgreen.co.uk/moroccan-tile-mats) And there are lots of other less costly versions around (try e.g. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/251849071/floor-vinyl-rug-vinyl-mat-tiles-pattern?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=vinyl mat&ref=sr_gallery_22) You could then choose the wall colour to tie in with whichever rug you choose. Alternatively, you could go for a warm grey tone that will work well with the marble and still be warm enough to carry the floor. Something like Farrow & Ball Cornforth White (although I would definitely get a tester of this before committing to it - it has a remarkable ability to change colour depending on the light in your room!). I too feel that a darker grey or an off-white/ light grey on the walls would work better with pink accents. What will the floor be?

5 years agoWe are planning on F&B Mizzle in our new bathroom - swatch behind plant.
We have off white tiles and greyish wood flooring (excuse the toilet rolls I was in process of putting away when I took photo).
Just got to get around to painting. Been 5 weeks of plaster. Think it will still be like this next year !!

5 years agoWe have similar pale grey wall tiles to you and we painted our bathroom in a soft purple. It was a few years ago so I can't remember the colour I'm afraid but I think it was one of the dulux colour cards that you can have mixed up. I personally feel that purple tones in better with grey, than pink, but it would give you a similar feel if you like those sorts of colours.

Rose Williams - you read my mind! was in Homebase this afternoon and picked up colour cards for Crown 'baby blues' and 'whirlpool' both deep teals. I'm slightly obsessed colourwise with a towel I bought from Ikea. As you can see it has grey/pink/teal.
