Hi love the accent wall. Where did you get the idea from. We have a similar project on the go & am looking for something like this to go on our dining room wall. love the colours

Everything you suggest sounds nice Minnie, your home must be lovely! Tbh the area where the sofa is going is not very deep so we may well end up with banquette style seating as I do think they look lovely. Then maybe I could get a small round table for coffee's etc....aahh the lampshade! It's been a pain in the butt! I'm still waiting for the Laura Ashley sample's, you would not believe how many shades of duck egg there are! They're so expensive too! :)

Bathroom tiles and accent wall help!

I'm trying to choose tiles for a shower room - I bought a black shower tray ages ago and am now trying to work around it! The room isn't large - around 1.5m x 2m. My thoughts are to have a grey stone effect floor, marble walls and a black herringbone accent wall in the shower in alternating gloss and matt black tiles. My shower will actually be mounted on the external wall and the bathroom door is opposite the toilet, but this is the basic mock up. Can I bring the the accent wall out to 2 or even 3 sides of the shower tray or should I keep it to just the back wall? And is black too much of a contrast with a bathroom of this size? Also, will a 60x 60cm wall tile work in this space or should I stick to 30x60? any other suggestions are welcome!

Tamp75 glad to hear you feel it works in your room. I'd be really interested to see a picture if you didn't mind sharing? Thanks for the colour suggestion Daisy. It's a nice colour but I'm quite keen to go dark if i can because the other rooms are all light and feel quite airy which is lovely but I'm really hoping to go a bit more dramatic in this one. Out of interest was your suggestion because you felt a dark colour wouldn't work or because it's quite a popular/trending colour at the moment?
