Thank you for your inquiry. The high top table and Barstools were custom produced for us by a metal worker in Napa, California that works on custom, commissioned pieces. Getting two tub chairs from Tubs direct.co.uk pastel striped, to overlook garden through any of the three French doors from the kitchen. I'm thinking just a round bistro type table, big enough to use a laptop on or for two to have coffee, either in chrome, marble, or similar- not keen on glass or wood for this area. The kitchen is mainly straight lines and this small corner needs to be comfy- have invested in a bling light overhead to contrast the ceiling lights around the kitchen area. Hi, thank you all for your input. I'm just going with the white Eiffel ones for now as all the suggestions are frying my brain and I need to get the chair ASAP, lol. It will buy me some time while I renovate the other ones and I'm sure someone will always want to buy them off me afterwards

The kitchen looks lovely. I like the table and it works well with the lights and I'd put the eames chairs with it or a mix of chairs (an old church chair is good for keeping kids colouring in stuff in but not sure of their age! ) What wood were you looking at? However having said that, your table is butt against the bar and the legs on this table are wider than the top so if you went for this one I think you'd need to go for a short table. As kikiamack said pedestal tables are good although hard to find a rectangular one (!) or as colourhappy said an old farmhouse one would work. Would an extending table also be an option? How many do you need to seat on a regular basis? Are the lights centred over the bench?

What might work in that case is to sand the wood sections back to the original to remove any varnish/ oil and apply a limed oak/ oak countertop sealant. I've used the Rubio monocoat 2c product which has worked excellently. Of course there is labour involved in the sanding and application but if you want to achieve your perfect look it is worth investing the time/ cost. If you follow this route you can then apply a maintenance oil a few years later to bring back the fresh look. In this case you would not have to re-sand the wood sections.
