Still playing with ideas about what to do with my kitchen. We can only afford an off the shelf one at the moment. What features and extras will make it look more high end?
(Picture isn't my kitchen but is the style of cabinet we are going for)
Disguise where it's coming from with different handles and not the usual sink - but a traditional Belfast sink - maybe add a few brick piers ? In my ideas books theres a design for M&C's kitchen that might inspire ?! ( don't know how to attach it on here ?)
You can add crown molding to the top of the cabinets, and add another smaller piece of molding along the bottom of the cabinets as well. Consider under cabinet lighting (you see how beautiful it looks in the photo). If you are adding a new backsplash, a simple white subway tile will much match any counter top you select. You can add your electrical sockets up underneath your cabinets so you don't have to cut into any of your backsplash tiles. Try to make at least two of your cabinet doors glass fronts with lighting, like in the photo you attached. Also, try the Internet to find some nicer cabinet hardware at a discount (as opposed to Home Depot or Lowes). Good luck with your new kitchen!
