Rework kitchen dining space for a family that entertains... Around 8m
Comments (7)Of course it all comes down to budget. To get it looking transformed on a budget I would leave all the cabinets where they are- put a larder fridge and larder freezer in each of the tall cabinets, upgrade the worktop and paint the cabinets. In my opinion the dining area looks a little bare and perhaps framing your lovely views with full length curtains would help it feel more finished- buy man made material to that they can easily be washed. If you have bigger budget then speak to a kitchen designer first before taking down walls- remember that loosing a reception room might devalue your home and a good design could make the most of the space you have....See MorePlease help with floor plan ground floor!

Comments (12)If you made outer wall then its okay to build window on the side, your neighbor privacy will be maintained and you can get the sunlight needed, I would advise to move the garage to the front so it can be accessible for a car from the main road, you can still have direct path to the garden from the front if you move the enterance to the right and just put a fence, if it were me here's the layout i will do, it'll give more space for closet, bigger bath, utility room, and additional storage unit, so basically move the wall to the left and focus buildng that side, the previous garage will become the new master bedroom with en-suite...See MoreRe-plan ground floor layout extended 20s semi
Comments (6)You can make another door on the utility room to the kitchen direction, your counter space might be decreasing by changing the L shape kithen counter into long counter that only run on the right wall, or reverse the L shape counter to the back of the house by closing of the door in that lead to the back garden, as now your using sliding door this exit can be unnecessary, this way you Will have view from garden while washing the dishes, placed the sink below the window, So if you have guest you can take the grocery straight to kitchen by pass the utility In Utility room instead of L shape counter you can build it on left and right side, the right side counter will sit perfectly on extension side, you can add sink, washer draining pipes as it close to the current WC so it Will not too expensive than placing the utility room in another place...See MoreStephanie Nelson
