What colour carpet and walls will go with a tan faux suede sofa
Comments (3)how about a wallpaper to the other 3 walls a black pattern with a light background or the other way around black background wallpaper with a lighter print on. It could tie the room together better. As its a tv room it will give a nice warm feeling to it. The tan sofa will sit nicely and you can add cushions that have tan and black prints. Prestigious and harlequin have on nice options or possibly villa nova. i have attached a couple of images both very different in styling depending on your taste....See MoreWhat neutral colour would go well with ochre on walls?
Comments (5)Hello, I'd love to upload a pic but the app is not letting me at the moment. It's a hall and was thinking the bottom half of it (it's already divided with skirting, creating a "panel" look) should be ochre and the top one in a light neutral (UK, not much natural light). The carpet on stairs will be an ochre / old gold colour. I do like the idea of inverting the colours: lighter for the bottom panel and ochre for the rest, but I'm afraid of it being too much ochre and eventually i would have to paint ochre upstairs too. The bottom panel is about 1 metre high. Thanks....See Morewhat colour sofa would go in room.with teal walls?

I have been teaching my students alot about dark/light versus dull/bright colours! Indian Yellow is lovely but I like the more retro feel of this....See Morewhat colour paint/sofas to go with this fabric?
Comments (4)Very pretty fabric. The background grey of the curtains would make a lovely wall colour. I don’t think you need anything bolder as the fabrics are quite bold. A pale grey carpet would be a nice neutral. I think you could go quite bold, if you dare, with the sofa though - bright green or teal, or pink. I think the Parker Knolls would look great in a bold velvet, but if that’s too much then a muted grey will still look great and you can liven them up with colourful cushions. Here’s some ideas, but I couldn’t find many images of curtains like yours with a sofa!...See Moreminipie
