Design advice for bedroom with vaulted ceiling

Hello


We're having a large extension on the back of our 1930s house, with the new master bedroom and spare bedroom likely to have vaulted ceilings (we hadn't expected or planned for this initially but are excited at the prospect of having v. high ceilings and lots of light)..


Has anyone any advice or experience on choosing suitable interior design which has worked well, any recommendations or things to avoid?
