HELP!!! Kitchen extension - what colour floor tiles??
Comments (25)Hi Jemma, I agree with option 1 from your choices, would definitely work:-) but just to throw a cat in amongst the pigeons... Have you considered rubber flooring at all? Some excellent options available now, clean lines, you can choose to have it look like what it is, or mimic tiles or timber. Gives the best of both worlds as looks good & much softer under foot - just a thought :-)...See MoreWhat colour flooring with kitchen?
Comments (3)Hi, I don't think the kitchen cabinet looks bad, the sort of wood effect print on cabinets is on the market at the moment. I think there is enough pattern within the scheme with the speckled worktop and wood effect doors. A plain large format tile would work well in a off white/ light grey (co-ordination with the Base colour of the worktop) and offer a nice contrast to the cabinets and kickboards. Do you have a UFH system? Tiles may be cold to the touch so an alternative to consider would be LVT such as amtico (on the pricier side for LVT but gives the required quality as well) Good Luck...See MoreAdvice on what colour flooring to go with light grey vanity unit??

Comments (3)They look like Travertine. I can understand you wanting to replace them as they’re cold looking and bland. LVT is hardwearing and you can use a steam mop on them. Look at others as well as Karndean as that is an expensive brand. I have LVT from the Eternity range....See Morerinked
