Before and after living room. Advise me please.

We finally almost finished our living room, but now we don’t know what decor to choose? Which is better to add decor on the wall and what color to choose the carpet and curtains? I will be glad to any advice, please.

4 years agoThank you very much for your ideas, I just bought a similar lamp today as in your photo, I also liked the carpet, I need to go to Ikea and see it. Now have a dilemma with choosing the color of the curtains, I like velvet and I tend to color "antique gold", but I'm not sure that they will look good in our living room or I think they are too bright? Or else, maybe dark green, what do you think?

Comments (18)Ha ha, yep the before is an eye catcher ;) yep radiators are powder coated aluminium, i have now gone off the black and have actually been thinking of getting them sprayed, but not white... Due to the sloping nature of the site we were able to convert the lower ground garage into a formal entrance with utility and WC to the rear and by inserting a new stair, link this to the main living accommodation on the ground floor and the converted roof void. The stair forms a focal point in the house and enables light to penetrate the deep plan of the house. An existing side extension has also been adapted to create an open living / dining / kitchen opening out the rear terrace with a further roof terrace part cantilevered over providing views across the Wharfe valley.
