Looking for 8 colored glass panels. Approx. size, 25" tall by 12.5 wide. Do you sell something like this? If so, please send price per panel. If not, do you know someone who does carry this item? Thank you.

We had a similar problem. Had two rads and two plinth heaters, but they weren't working properly and we were freezing. Had the plumber in and he adjusted them and now we're toasty in a matter of minutes. Get one plinth heater put in and plug in a small electric coal or log effect stove ( cheap enough) to bridge the gap. If your windows are thermally bridged have you thought about contacting the window installer to complain , about the problems you are having? The builder, too , as he should have ensured your extension was properly insulated. The suggestion about thermal lined curtains that pull right back during the day is spot on as it will help insulate the room and the kitchen will be warmer in the mornings to come down to. Finally the door is essential as both the hall and front door area are most likely sucking away any warmth from the kitchen area, especially if there is a stairwell. I now think if I was doing mine again I would dig up the floor and put in underfoot heating but this is way too disruptive to consider now. Best of luck.

Dear all, many thanks for your wonderful support. We are scheduled to move in Jan 12, and sorry to say, but we decided to postpone our kitchen update. It will be too much to handle for us. moving, contractors, business travel, etc. I hope that one day, sooner rather than later, I can give you a wonderful update on our kitchen remodel, incorporating some of the ideas that you contributed so generously. Until then, we will live "in the past", 1990s to be exact, and there's nothing wrong with that... I wish you all a healthy and merry holiday season! Cheers! :-)

I prefer the one on the left to the right for the same reasons as Jonathan. It also seems to fit a bit more with the style you're going for (making a massive assumption based on your dining room ideabook!!). I'm not sure about the wall cabinets (I've blown up the colour on the pic below), I might stick to wood personally but maybe you can add your kitchen design? I would however add the floor tile to this so you can see it along together and know from your earlier post the worktop is tbc!

Crittall normally sits really well in a Victorian house. I’m in Crittall county and there are a lot of victorian factories locally with crittall windows although people tend to associate it most with the 1920’s but they were founded much earlier. It will sit really well with the exposed brick too

Did you try to approach local glaziers? Ask for “backsplash” or “back painted toughened glass”
