Feature wall in lounge

Hello I have a tan leather suite and oak flooring. Have more or less decided to do lounge walls with a light grey emulsion called Elephants breath but stuck with a colour for Feature wall over the fireplace which would compliment the room and furniture help !

What about Pelt? https://www.farrow-ball.com/paint-colours/pelt I think that would look spectacular!

It is one of the colours that features in the F&B suggested colour schemes to use with Elephants Breath.

Hi Sofaiza, It sounds like you have done great so far and have a great space. Well done. I have just completed a kitchen design with what sounds like exactly the same kitchen units. We went for a speckled white worktop which worked really well. We then chose a light grey with a hint of blue for the walls - this is modern and fresh and works well with the white gloss and with the silvers or whites that may appear elsewhere in the kitchen. What flooring have you gone for? For a contrast Black worktop went well and was considered for the same project I mentioned. For the features walls the tiles sound intriguing but I would need to see them to get a better idea or know if they would work with the design. Sounds good though. paint to compliment Hague blue

We have used a colour similar to Hague blue in a dark study above dark oak cladding with grey curtains/carpet. The colour really makes wood or red leather pop and makes a dark room cozy rather than just dim. However, it doesn't have to be used as a dark colour to draw walls in, it can really complement some brighter colours like yellow, orange or a really bright lime green and really push them to the fore. It also gives a crisp clean look against whites for a more grown up look. If you're looking for opulence, try jewel colours like teal or amethyst. All metallics look good against a dark blue, but copper contrasts particularly well. Luckily, all these colours go with grey, but grey and blue can sometimes be a bit cold so i'd err on the side of warmer tones if in doubt. Need help with the feature wall for the lounge. The tv will be on the wall so i wanted something dark so the tv doesn't stand out and give it a more cosy feel as it's an open plan kitchen/dinner/lounge. Initially we wanted the acoustic panels either oakor concrete grey but then decided to paint due to costs but can't decide on the colour. Did look at wallpaper panel effect and textured wallpaper but didn't find anything we liked. We have a navy blue snug sofa and we wanted to paint to wall blue but will the sofa just blend in with the wall? The other option is grey or a bluey gery. It's an open plan area and the kitchen is concrete grey. Any suggestions/feedback is appreciated. Thanks

I don’t think Elephants Breath is a light grey at all, it is more taupe. I don’t think you need a feature wall as it’s quite a deep shade, but if you want one below is a list of colours that go well with it. Something like Moles Breath?
