where can you buy large ceramic dining tables 230-250cm length?

Hi, I am looking for a large ceramic dining table that is 230-250cm in length. Or a ‘child friendly’ material. We have light grey wood effect tiles, so not wood as would clash. Thanks

Worktop suppliers often supply table tops to match the kitchen worktops . Contact your local kitchen studio for more info .

The Persian rug is lovely. We have several (sitting room, study, hall, bedroom ..... they're a bit addictive), with fabric using a couple of the colours in each for stuff like cushions, curtains etc. with neutral walls. I agree with minnie about the patterns. To get the right colour combinations, at a reasonable price, you could find a company that does a range with the colour or colours you're looking for and then look for remnants on ebay, to get them at bargain prices. That's worked well for us. Hi all, thought I would give an update on the room. I decided to paint in neutral and take some time to allow the extension to complete before attempting this room. We freshened it up with some white paint and I’m now ready to tackle it!! I have sold and cleared much of my clutter after reading the magic art of tidying. The book should really come with a warning. I have literally ransacked our home! We have ordered a new sofa. We went with the French connection zinc. A 3 seater in light grey with dark cushion combo with a grey leather cuddler. We have a decorator pencilled in for 3 weeks time. I’m loving the teal blue shades for an accent wall to separate the living area from the play end. I like teal tension by Dulux and F&b stiffney blue or Hague. I’ll post some samples tomorrow. I’m not sure which one or two walls to paint. Either just the fireplace wall or the long wall facing window (or both). Undecided on colour for other walls too either little greene French grey in pale or elephants breath. I think I would like the darker wall to be one that the tv sits against. Where would you put tv? I would like to change the stand for a lower more minimalistic one. Love all of the mid century styles. The other side of the room will be for the girls as our dining area has moved to the extension room. Any idea much appreciated. Here is a current pic. The toys and armchair will go to other end of room.

Personally I really liked the yellow suggestion. The pro said she’s getting more people asking about yellow and I’ve got a gut feeling yellow might be coming in. I know it doesn’t matter if something is “in” but it does mean better items are available to buy. Plus it’s actually a classic anyway. Since it’s south west and you may get glare I wouldn’t go with Roman blinds since they’re either fully closed or open, where as other blinds better control the light levels. And if you place a rug in a room where there’s not much space to walk around the table and chairs I think it becomes a trip hazard?? I do think a beautiful or unusual light above table would be particularly significant in this room. And I’d also like to see some hanging plants in the far corners in front of the curtains. Hanging means they will be off the floor so cleaner lines on the floor but good added interest up high. Also, I get what you like about the fridge light looking good at night, it just could do with the sides disguising somehow, and a folding screen beside it positioned carefully might do it? And another hanging plant?
