Where can I find the white wall shelf/cabinet to purchase? I am doing a small space bathroom renovation and his would work well with the new design.

Jonathandb1972, I was thinking of going with a grout that is the same colour or lighter than the grey tile. The hex will be grouted in a medium grey. This has already been done in the loo (the hex) and looks great. Neither are grouted in the above picture. Do you think there will still be issues with where the grout lines are if they are the same or lighter than the tile? Also, where the hex tile in the shower meets the grey tile will mainly be covered by the shower's profile. However, the shower only goes up to about 2m, so there will still be a visible "meeting" of tiles above that. My builder is a little concerned about how this will look as he will have to cut small pieces of tile to fill up the edge, which may stain once they start grouting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best...

Lovely kitchen. I'd definitely not have a colour on the walls now that i've seen it. Go for copper accessories they'll pick up on the lovely colour in the floor tile. Maybe combine the copper with a little green or blue

I can see how odd it is and it squashes everything downwards, accentuating the huge gap above. I wonder if a large, reasonably priced canvas from Dunelm or The Range (they are open online) stuck on with Command strips may do the job, I’ve suggested them simply because their canvases are usually quite lightweight. Command strips are fiddly, I found, but okay with lightweight pictures. Here are examples of some of their canvases, but they have loads to suit all tastes.

Whites taken from the Yellow Hue Family are certainly complementary to the Purple-Blue Hue Family of Basalt, which can add a little kick to your colour palette. But if you can take into consideration the colour measurements of your other fixed finishes (flooring/work surface/tiles) also, it will help make your palette all the more cohesive. It’s good to understand what you already have, before choosing paint colours to work with those finishes and the available light in your space. Even the most basic of those colour measurements, the Hue Family is powerful stuff. It’s not always that easy to know to which Hue Family many colours belong, just by eye. Especially with lots of near neutrals, so many of us have in the home these days. Using the same white on walls & trim, only in different finishes, is one straightforward approach to incorporating white. But if you fancy the idea of adding some extra layers of interest, it is possible to combine whites and off-whites successfully, if you keep a few things in mind. Key to this is a minimum difference in Chroma of 0.2. This stops one of the ‘whites’ looking dingy or dirty next to the other. Choosing 2 whites which are not toooo close together in Hue angle, nor too far apart either also helps. And if there is some difference in Value, (one lighter or darker than the other) that will only add to the feel of contrast. 🌈
