Old farmhouse renovation - bedroom help

Hi, we are moving into an old farmhouse and doing a lot of renovation work. The first thing will be to create a main bedroom by knocking down a wall separating two bedrooms that currently exist (we understand it used to be one room before a partition was installed.) The walls will be insulated so we will lose the exposed beams from the walls.

I really don’t know where to start with decorating or styling the room. The only thing I think we have agreed on is a super king emelia bed from sofa.com (https://www.sofa.com/gb/beds/emilia-bed/p/BLEMA240HBWPUM#&gid=1&pid=1), but even then I don’t know what fabric headboard?

I’m also keen to try linen bedding and love the soft crumpled look.

Attached are photos of the two rooms that will be made into one and some ideas I’ve saved of rooms. Is navy a good idea? We plan to carpet and install electric radiator and an en-suite.

Thanks so much.
