Toughened mirror splashback

Hello. I’m considering installing a toughened mirrored splashback behind our hob. I have had some feedback that the toughening process can lead to the mirror giving a slightly distorted reflection. I wondered if anybody had any experience or thoughts on this? Thanks!

We used Creoglass, we actually had a soft sheen aqua colour, which we used in both the kitchen and bathroom of one of our properties, but they do mirrored.

Mirrors anywhere are great, as long as you are tidy ... any mess is doubled up instantly ! Yes the hob looks too close to the tall cabinet - and if there’s wall to left of sink - it’s a bit close to that too ( think elbow room)
