Building large extension in new facing brick and then brick slip old
3 years ago
We have a 1970s build and we aren’t keen on the brick. We are building a large, wrap around double storey extension and rebuilding the front to bay the downstairs front windows and replace old tiles. The old bricks will remain down one side and then a few at the front. Has anyone ever come across building extension out of a new choice of facing brick, and then brick slipping any original house left to tie it all in? this would be an ideal solution but not sure how realistic it is!! any advice is appreciated!
