Hi There - Are you referring to the paint color of the wall, the cabinets, or the island stain? If it's the walls, we would not know unfortunately. Thanks.

Thanks. I was asking about the walls but I noticed in other pictures the color is blue vs the one picture appears to be celery/sage but I think it is just the shadow.

Thanks :) Hopefully worktops should be done within the next week. My husbands done everything himself plus he's never done anything like this before, hence why it's taking so long! but he's a perfectionist so I don't mind. No sofa yet, still unsure of what to go with plus I keep changing my mind on blinds lol. I'm so indecisive! :)

Ooo that looks a great possibility. There are two undertones to this colour green and grey. I'd say green complimenting the cupboards and grey the work tops. Lots of colour testing to do on paper once I have the flooring sample and it laid. Yes I definitely need dark accessories. I was going with copper as I am going to have two pendant lights over the breakfast bar. Do you all think copper as the accessory colour would work? I am having an oak kitchen door and dining table with an oak bench. Seating area I was thinking paint a light colour but reupholster with a dark blue shade (now decided from your advice) and then tile the inside of the log fire background in a patterned dark blue tile? Thank you

Hi Jenny, I would definitely be tempted to inject some colour into that space. If you keep with the grey scheme I would recommend something a bit more dramatic like Moles breath or Worsted on that wall where the window is. I would put a wall hung mirror similar to what I did in a recent project of mine where they similarly had a sink in front of a mirror. And on the wall above the loo I would put either some open shelving with some beautifully fluffy towels and a few plants or a nice print. Good luck!

I'm not a great fan of feature walls, but if that's something YOU like, go for it, it's your house! As for painting, again, I would say, whether it 'should' all be painted the same colour is neither here nor there, do youwant it all the same colour? Or are you keen to differentiate the two areas? Is one area lighter and brighter than the other? Could you perhaps paint the brighter part a darker version of the same colour and vice versa with a lighter paint in the less bright part of the room? What flooring are you going to have? That may influence your choice of all colours. Have a look at pictures on Houzz and work out what you like from those, that may help you make decisions for your decor.
