Paint colour for home

Hi everyone,

I wish to get advice, on which colours to paint my house in.

The doors of which will be oak and the floor also be oak or engineered oak.

Which wall colours match these? I prefer something light or something sunny...as long as it doesn't turn out to be funny!

My daughter wants lime green in her room. That's not negotiable unless she changes her mind.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Many thanks, that was very helpful.

Ideally, any light colours, which reflect light.

Originally I liked the colour yellow or sunset yellow. However, as I am not good with these colour matching etc, thought that it may look garish!

So any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Jscott001, We have a range of 96 colours inspired by nature that could enhance your lovely house. If you want a strong green we have New Sap, but for a more subtle shade of green we have Bud that is very similar but paler than F&B's Mizzle. Cashmere popular. Mine being fitted this week. I have chosen real wood worktop and upstand. Plain Glass splashback behind hob and oxide emerald green floor tiles. Just for something different. Walks mmm not sure……something muted. Small kitchen but bright! Ideas… don’t hate me re floor 😳

I'd definitely recommend a pale mint green colour or a similar hue of grey/slate, they look so refreshed and I think with your brickwork they would work beautifully! Especially if you went for the same garage doors also! You have a beautiful space out front so it would really benefit from a refreshing, modern yet still characterful look! It does look nice, may be ask the decorator to paint the doors white?

So yellow is stylish and not shocking !!
