Clock is ticking!!

Hi. Trying to finalise our kitchen worktops. We are going with quartz but I am struggling to pick suitable colours. Our kitchen units are White Cotton with a Deep Forest Green island. Would anyone have any pictures please of a kitchen with similar colours so I could visualise what quartz countertops would work? Thanks. I'm struggling to find any inspiration online! Thanks

We have Cosy Stone Carrara Shimmer with our DIY Kitchens Linwood Heritage Green (excuse the mess - still a work in progress!) There is a very subtle bit of glitter in it but you prob won't be able to see in the photos. I think it works well. The Calacatta is also nice if you want a more pronounced 'pattern'

Isn't SW American? Not much use in the UK! It depends on your light. I find farrow and ball's 'neutral' tones are often quite grey-green in my house: eg, clunch, lime white, also strong white is a grey despite the name. Oh, and laura ashley's pale french grey might be just what you want as well as cheaper than F&B!

French gay is a nice colour as rockin' said.Serpentine 233 from the little green company is quite nice,but I would advise on getting a tester (whichever one you decide on)paint it onto a piece of paper stick it on the wall and look at it in different lights.Good luck!

Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day.. Neither the house you want to make a home... If the house feels right. With your Head and your heart, location. Then if it's the house for you it will work.. Move in and adjust each day... Yes you can put your Mark on the house, yes it will be your HOME... But live with it for at least a short while.. Don't be hasty to paint.. See where the sunshine..shines...See where it makes dull on a dark day...So you Can add a mirror maybe to reflect the daylight.. Don't make the pennies stretch any further than they are.. Remember that sadly the bills have to come first..!!!.... Improvise pieces to fit and...if you have to save for the right item....Then save..!!! it will be more practical in the end , rather than buying for the sake of it and having to buy another a few months down the line... Don't fill every room with furniture.... My biggest mistake... Use a piece like a sideboard and think practically the uses.... Is it big enough.. One more draw or cupboard would have better than two smaller ones...don't be afraid to add old stuff that we all now reuse..paint it ...add your own art work... It's a long journey.. To find the destination of all your dreams... And when you feel you have achieved what you have done...then sit back and enjoy all your hard work. And live in your HOME... Enjoy. Relax.. And above all have fun...

I install home automation equipment and lighting controls. I don't have a TV in the house : ) I do though, have a projector with a retractable screen. This has totally changed the way we watch TV. We only watch what we want to - which is mainly programs recorded via Youview or films. When the projector isn't on, the screen is out of sight in the ceiling and the room is setup for more social activities. Personally, I couldn't be without the radio. We have speakers in every room for this and music in general. Upstairs this is done with inceiling speakers so again, it is a discrete system.

Ps. Not sure where you are but regardless if you check out Solent Worktops on Facebook and look at their photos they show lots of whole slabs so you can get a really good idea of what each worktop looks like

Whereabouts are you ? I'm off to visit the Consentino warehouse and showroom next week in Hook (SW London/Surrey ) where I'm hoping to find displays of , if not all, then many of their range which included Silestone Quarz and Dekton, amongst others. I just couldn't decide based on the tiny sample available in kitchen showrooms.
