Can't find a floor reducer / ramp profile that fits my floor

HU-245768423
last year

I have a 2cm difference between my tile and wooden floors. I cannot for the life of my find a ramp / reducer that is tall enough for this gap (either in wood or in metal designed to look like wood; actual wood would be my preference). The tallest I can find is still at least 3mm too short to cover the gap, and I am not sure what to do as I don't want to create a trip hazard by angling a ramp up too much.

Should I put something under to prop it up a few mm (without damaging the lovely old hardwood underneath)? Should I just buy something that is slightly too short?

Also, the guy who tiled the floor left this adhesive on some of the wood making it bumpy, any advice on how to remove it?

Thank you!
