Blue and pink stains under paint

Hello everyone. We started to paint the living room and the next days some of the paint have came off. Showing blue and pink stains underneath. What it might be? How to get rid of it? Therenis not pipes in that wall. Thank you so much

Did you paint straight on to plaster or onto paper? if its plaster some times if there's painted layers underneath they can seep through.

Hi, it is plaster, I thing... It seems like chalk. It is strange as the paint bubbled, but just in this area. The rest of the room is perfect.

Oh she's nearly 8 and a bit of a tom boy really. I should also probably have mentioned that this room is also shared with her younger 5 year old sister, who is more of a princess girl. I had hoped to create some symmetry in the room so ideally I need to find a balance that works for both girls. Wall art stickers could work well. Thanks!

Hi there, the blue looks great, good choice! If you opt for blinds our Roller Blinds or Pelmet Roller Blinds would be ideal for you as the fabrics can be easily swapped without remeasuring or even removing the system form the window. Blue or Green are great colors to your room But also Think over to use some Real plants in your Roms in Denmark is it a Big trend to have Big plants right now i haved always haved alot of plants in my home, and for me it does not feel right or like me if there not is plants in the most used room like dinning room ,Living room, Kitchen, Hall, and so on.. my old Friends Call my first small homes the rainforrest becauce my mom and dad did also have many green plants overall in their home.. and my dad did (and still Do !) bye a new bucket flowers to my mom evrry week! So there is allways fresh beautifuls flowers in a vase on the table.. they have be married 46 years.. and been togethers from they was 15 and 17 years old.. my dad was delivering flowers out for a flowers store when he was a Big boy! and his grandparents had a free land Greenhouse at that time.. so when we was moving to a House where there was a Big Garden there need a lot of love and hard work !! I just get my eyes open for a hole new Big World!! I found out that is only your Money Wallet and fantasi there Can break how Big dreams you Can realize to build a oase outside! a new room under open skyes! where you Can feel peace, make a anneks where you Can maybe be kreative, have a bed, to take a nap or rest !use it to be mediafree zone! So you Can go away from the devil stress from all mails,social medias and phones there is constant ask for that your shall see a mail, new status on twitter,link ind , facebook, Snapchat , and so on!! Any colour can go with any colour: It is a question of intensity of hue and temperature and % used as contrast or compliment. If using two colours in a vast expanse, it is better to use two of the same range (for example, blues) of the similar intensity and temperature, eg two dark warm blues. Then add the pop of colour (no more than 10% of your room and you're good to go. Then add the jewellery: chandeliers, door handles etc, as one would adornment on a person. Ex2: A cold 'toilet blue' would not go with the above- The temperatures are different. I hope this helps. Ausbengal, teal would go perfectly, because the colour remains (shades of blue) and temperature and intensity are changed, thus being used as an accent colour, but not in a vast expanse, for example, the entire wall.

A lot of the results are saying its down to UV degredation, or "Chalking" meaning the surface underneath is degraded/damaged so it prevents the paint from addearing to the surface. The only way to get rid of it is either pressure washing or a stiff brush and washing detergent in the affected area.

I can guess that you are renovating old property and this is your external wall (interior walls are usually fine and not as much heat barrier dependant) might be lack of insulation within the wall, or condensation behind or you might have different plaster.. Are you sure that you are applying correct paint to your plaster? hard to guess by low quality of picture (if) lime plaster then you need mineral paints.. chalking means that your surface is not stable so whatever you apply, won't be able to hold.. (if) your walls are fine and normal and no water/moisture/etc behind it.. then it might be your cold spot (is it back door on right of picture) ?
